ShaNgarepa Cake

Another Swiss old recipe (adapted to today's ingredients) cake comes from the German part of Switzerland and is said to be a medieval cake. At home - a favorite candy

Preparation steps

  • Preheat the oven to 180C. -compose flour + soda + baking powder + cinnamon - beat eggs with sugar add oil - add dry ingredients to eggs, beat add grated carrot. (I cut it in a blender, I don't grate it) pour everything into a well-greased pan. I prefer to use a kuglof tray, and maybe a narrow one for bread. Take care, because of all this soda and PP can go wild and outgrow the mold a bit. So the oven is at 180C bake for 40-45 minutes. GLAZ Melt the butter and combine with the other ingredients and spread while the cake is hot. If you have patient housemates, wait for it to cool down..and if yours are like mine ... it's hot and phenomenally PLEASANT for us!
