Scampi in SWEET-SOUR chilli sauce

Here is another recipe with scampi. Pleasant!

Preparation steps

  • Prepare all ingredients. Defrost the scamps, preferably overnight and refrigerate. Clean from the armor, then cut them on the back. Then you will see one black thread that needs to be taken out. It is a hose, and by no means fail to take it out.
  • Put all the ingredients in a bag.
  • Stir the bag well to combine all the ingredients. Leave the bag in the fridge and sometimes turn it over. It can be in the marinade all day, the longer the better. Bake them in a pan-frying pan, without adding oil. Do not bake them for a long time, just a few minutes, 3-4 min. Fresh scampi are gray, and when baked they change color, they begin to get a slightly pink color. When they change color to pink on one side, turn them to the other side. And when they are pink on both sides, they are done. If they are cooked for too long, they become gummy and not tasty. That is why they should be processed really short.

Serving

I did not use the whole bottle of chili sauce, but if you are going to eat for example with rice or some other side dish, maybe you can use all the sauce. It depends on the size of the bottle.
