Preparation steps
- Sauerkraut cut into strips. If it is too sour, rinse it under cold water and drain well.
- Chop the cracklings and fry briefly in a little fat. Put them in a bowl and cover with a lid, then fry sauerkraut and 2 bay leaves in the same fat in a pan. When the cabbage is semi-finished, add the cracklings, garlic powder and pepper.
- Transfer everything to an oiled refractory dish, sprinkle with olive oil and bake in a preheated oven at 170 degrees until the cabbage is finely browned.
