Sardines the Greek way

We love sardines. My husband would eat them every day, and when we are at sea we eat so much that at the end of the summer our gills grow and we all become speechless (like fish :-))

Preparation steps

  • Clean the sardines, but do not take off their heads. Arrange them in a pan, pour over lemon juice (approximately 1/2 lemon), olive oil (not really floating), sprinkle with oregano and pour half a glass of water. Bake at about 200-220C for about 20 minutes.
