Sape with honey (Christmas cookies)

As if from an old book, this story of mine begins :-) I got the recipe from my aunt MILica, my former neighbor from Baranja ,,, I have to tell you how I cried in a moment of happiness and sadness :-( :-) I stand in the store and look for looking at the shelf for cake decorations, suddenly behind my back comes a voice that speaks to me in a foreign language so stuttering, I quote "entschuldigung wo finde ich scholade zum kochen" I turn to the woman and without saying a word I hug her and start crying :-( It was my neighbor Milica from Beli Manastir. The woman was shocked, thinking for sure what happened to this one, I barely managed to tell her through the tears that I was little Goga who always shouted over the fence, give me a paradise. Preparation steps

  • Quite simply, mix all the ingredients in one bowl and let it rest for at least half an hour.
  • Then I smeared the molds with vegetable fat and floured, so that the mass does not stick to the mold ;-) THIS IS THE ADVICE OF AUNT MILICA
  • I filled the molds up to half a percent to grow and be full at the very end.

  • Since I was making it for the first time without Mother Sapa, I didn't know when to take it out, so I turned the hot models on the cloth even after a few minutes. sprinkled powdered sugar over it.

  • He recommends this recipe to everyone, I was thrilled, as they are soft and can be eaten right away. P.S. 40 pieces come out of this measure, I only have one type of mold so I got 2x20 bouquets.
