Samsa dessert
If you like baklava and are not skilled in making crusts, here is a recipe that will be useful to you. Like any Turkish dessert, this one goes with a sugar syrup topping, with a filling of any nut.
Preparation steps

- Pour water and sugar into a deeper pan, then let it cook for about 10 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside.
- Roll out the crust of puff pastry on a floured work surface into a rectangular shape.
- Separate the egg whites from the egg yolk and whisk the egg whites, adding sugar. Add to the mixture toasted ground hazelnuts and who likes cinnamon.
- Put the filling and roll on the dough. Cut into pieces about 5 cm in size and arrange in a tray. Coat each cookie with egg yolk before baking. Bake in a preheated oven at 2oo degrees until golden brown.
- Sprinkle the hot cookies with sugar syrup and let them soak for about 30 minutes.
Serving
Serve with a little sweet cream.
