Salty spinach cake
Nice simple cake. I didn't make it for a very long time, and a few days ago I needed something I could prepare the night before and so it was my turn again.
Preparation steps
- Spinach wash, cut and put in a sickle. Cover and "cook" for 2-3 minutes. Drain well and allow to cool.
- Beat eggs with salt and pepper. Add cream and oil and mix just to combine. Then add flour mixed with baking powder and mix. Finally add the drained spinach and mix with a spatula just enough to combine.
- Cover a 44x32 baking tray with baking paper and coat with oil. Shake the prepared mixture and bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 25-30 minutes, depending on the oven.
- Allow to cool completely.
- For the filling, whisk the cream cheese well at room temperature, add the cream, salt and pepper and stir to combine everything. Saute about 1 salt of the filling to the side, and add the ham to the rest and mix.
- Cut the bark into 3 parts, about 15 cm wide. Put the first crust on a plate and coat with half of the filling. Put the second crust and coat with the rest of the filling. Put the third crust over and lightly press with your hands to stick with the filling.
- Coat the whole cake with the filling you left aside and decorate as desired. Leave in the fridge best overnight to cool well.
