Preparation steps
- Mix the yeast and sugar, then pour over the lukewarm milk and let it rise. Beat the egg, add salt and oil and mix, add lukewarm yogurt and yeast, mix and add flour, gradually, then knead a smooth dough. Cover and leave on warm to rise.
- Knead the dough and thin it into a 35 x 35 cm square. cut into strips up to 1.5 cm wide. and bend the snail, bend the end of the strip under the dough.
- Place the snails in a baking tray lined with baking paper with small gaps between them.
- Coat with egg yolk whipped with a little oil and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Allow to rise a little more while the oven heats up
- Preheat the oven to 220 C, place the snails and reduce to 200 C in the oven for 20 -25 minutes or as needed
