Salty snails
This is a recipe for leafy snails. Snails that everyone in my family adores and no gathering can pass without them. These snails are fantastic with a salad or a good spread.
Preparation steps
- Put the yeast to add to a little milk with a teaspoon of sugar. Add the egg, the rest of the milk, flour, salt, sugar to the leftover yeast. Knead the dough of medium hardness and leave it to rise. Coat with margarine containing a couple of tablespoons of oil
- Fold the coated dough in half and coat it.
- Fold in a quarter and coat.
- Fold in an eighth and coat.
- Fold in one-sixth and coat. Leave to stand for 5-10 minutes. Roll out the dough to a thickness less than a finger.
- Coat with the rest of the margarine and roll. When wrapping, roll the dough in half and cut, then roll the other half. Cut the rolls into circles 2 cm thick. Bake in a preheated oven at 250C for 15-20 minutes.
