Salty biscuits with beer
Whenever I make these cookies, I remember one summer vacation on Hvar from a couple of years ago, when I first tried them; a friend made them, and I tamed them just like that, I couldn’t stop eating them. I made them for tonight, in anticipation of the match: it's better to nibble on them than nails :)
Preparation steps
- Mix all the ingredients well (I put half olive and half sunflower oil in the mixture).
- Knead the dough to be a little harder, it should not be too soft.
- Roll out the dough to about a centimeter thick, and use a mold or plug to remove the circles. Knead the rest of the dough again and cut the bars.
- Sprinkle the circles with cumin and the bars with sesame seeds.
- Preheat the oven to 220 degrees, place the biscuits on a set plate because there is oil in them, and bake them for about 20 minutes, until they turn brown.
Serving
They are very easy to make and super delicious. They are great for snacking on their own, and go perfectly with fish pies, cheese spreads and French salad.
