Salmon skewers
String in salmon and lime cubes and enjoy a brand new skewer with your favorite Ajvar.
Preparation steps
- Wash the salmon fillets well and dry them with a paper towel. Cut them into rectangles about 3x5 cm in size and place them in a bowl. Sprinkle them with Natur for fish, pour over olive oil and mix lightly. Let them stand for about 30 minutes.
- Cut the lemon into thin slices.
- Take 2 skewers and stick a piece of salmon on them so that the distance between the sticks is about 1-1.5 cm. Then skewer a half-folded slice of lemon, then salmon.
- Cut the salmon pieces and lemon slices alternately on the sticks. Start and end each skewer with salmon.
- Bake the skewers prepared in this way on all sides for 2 minutes, on a well-heated grill or in a grill pan.
- Place the baked skewers in a fireproof dish, sprinkle with chopped oregano, cover and let stand for about 2 minutes.
Serving
Serve with ajvar and toasted slices of fresh bread.
Advice
Soak the skewer sticks in water and let them stand for about 1 hour, so that they do not burn during baking.
