Salad Fiesta de Guadalajara
Originally, you would get this salad in a fajita with pieces of beef or chicken. But with a little tweaking, this colorful salad ended up on a plate
Preparation steps
- Cut the sausages into rings and lightly fry in a pan without adding fat. Let cool.
- Wash the carrots, boil briefly and cut into cubes.
- Wash and slice the tomatoes, peppers and onions. You can also cut corn cobs into rolls.
- Chop the parsley and squeeze the chilled cooked beans. In a salad bowl, mix all the prepared ingredients. Add salt and pepper. In a glass, make a marinade of oil, vinegar, mustard and a few drops of Tabasco (don’t overdo it that you shouldn’t have a fire extinguisher!), And pour over the salad.
Serving
Before serving, let it stand briefly in the refrigerator so that the ingredients are better absorbed. Serve with corn tortillas or at least cornbread.
