Russian meatballs
Delicious meatballs in pickle sauce.
Preparation steps
- Cut the onion and bacon into cubes, and mash the garlic.
- In a suitable bowl, combine minced meat, egg, onion and garlic, bacon, pretzels, ground pepper and spices to taste. Mix all the ingredients well to get a uniform mixture.
- Shape the meatballs with oiled hands. Fry them in hot oil on all sides until golden brown, then take them out and leave them warm.
- Add cooking cream, mustard, spices to taste to the meat fat and cook briefly. Grate the pickles on the coarse side of the grater and add to the mixture with the sour cream. Finally add the meatballs and cook everything together at a moderate temperature for 5 minutes.
- Serve with mashed potatoes.
