Preparation steps
- Fry the bacon in a little oil, add the onion and continue to fry until it gets a nice color. Add the meat and simmer. When it changes color, add chopped peppers and grated zucchini. Season. Saute for a few more minutes, then cover everything with mashed tomatoes. Bring to a short boil, but do not allow too much liquid to evaporate.
- Heat the flour in butter and cover with cold milk. Add salt and season with grated nutmeg. Boil briefly to begin to show signs of thickening, but still remain very runny. This is important because lasagna goes well with dry dough that will soak up a lot of liquid when baking.
- Pour a little sauce into an oiled baking dish and arrange a row of lasagna dough. Followed by a layer of stuffing, a layer of sauce and grated cheese. Alternately stack until you have used up all the dough. Pour the sauce over the last layer of dough and sprinkle with grated cheese. Bake at 180 ° C so that the dough absorbs the liquid and the surface gets a nice yellow color.
