Roll with cartoon motifs

This roll is my quick dessert when I often prepare it, but for the first time I decorate the sponge cake for the roll with cartoon motifs. summer and the next one will definitely be with some winter motives. Interesting and above all delicious.

Preparation steps

  • My filling for this roll is ganas cream, which we prepare at the beginning so that the cream cools down well before torturing. first at room temperature and then in the refrigerator. Before use, stir with a mixer.
  • Drawing mixture: Whisk the egg whites with the sugar with a fork and then add the melted margarine and flour, combine. Divide the mixture into 2-3 parts depending on how many colors we need for our motif. I divided it into 2 parts and added green and red candy color. into separate sachet bags and cut the tops of the bags.
  • Draw the motifs of your choice on baking paper with a pencil and then draw your motifs on the other side of the paper with a mixture of color.
  • In a bowl, beat the eggs {feel free to add the yolks left over from the drawing mixture}, add the sugar and mix with a mixer, add two tablespoons of hot water. When the mixture turns white, add flour, vanilla sugar and a little baking powder. baking tray with a drawing and apply the pancake mixture over it {when leveling the mixture it should not be pressed to the bottom but gently only on the surface} Bake the roll crust in a preheated oven at 170c. Bake for about 10-15 minutes depending on your oven. the bark cools down a bit.
  • First, coat the crust for the roll with a thin layer of marmalade {I put it from the cherries}, spread the filling over the marmalade, arrange the banana cream lengthwise on the edge of the crust and slowly roll the roll. You can also use other chocolates to your liking. I only put vanilla sugar and we roll the roll in sugar - in this way our art remains visible, which is the goal of this drawing technique.
  • Cartoon motifs are a paradise for the eye - the work of your hands and the taste ....... the taste is a paradise for your sweetheart!
