Rolana "baklava"

baklava in quotes ... it is known that baklava only goes with walnuts, but for us this is also good with semolina. It's a slightly lighter version :-)

Preparation steps

  • Walnut filling Milk, vanilla sugar put to boil. Add the cooking chocolate, when the chocolate has melted remove from the stove and stir in the ground walnuts.
  • Bay Prepare a bay of 800 g of sugar and 1.2 liters of water. When it boils, cook for 10 minutes. Leave to cool.
  • fillet to spread noodles Eggs and vanilla sugar (3 sachets) whisk and then add cream, oil, semolina and baking powder.
  • Put the first noodle and spread with the filling, then the second and then the third;) put the fourth noodle and put the prepared walnuts (one third) at the beginning. Urolati. Repeat the process with the other noodles. I get 3 rolls. If you buy noodles and there are fewer pieces, reduce the amount of filling with which you spread the noodles. Walnuts do not have to cut from excess head does not hurt;)
  • Bake for an hour. Initially at 200 degrees and when it turns brown, reduce to 160. Pour lukewarm bay over the baked baklava.
