Rogaticka cicvara

Cicvara is one of the fine old dishes, tasty and high in calories, and the main ingredients for making it are some kind of flour, cream and butter or butter. For some reason, the people of Rogatica decided to change the recipe a bit and use boiled potatoes instead of flour. As far as I'm concerned, I completely agree with the choice, although I like the original cicvara, and this one suits me completely because I love potatoes, and it can be used instead of a side dish to some fine meat ...

Preparation steps

  • We cook the potatoes in their skins, peel them and just crush them roughly or, so to speak, we mash them.
  • Melt the butter in a pan, add the flour and fry at a medium temperature until golden brown, then add the cheese and cream and let it melt and boil.
  • Add potatoes to the melted mass, add salt as needed. Serve by making indentations in potatoes and grease with hot butter and sprinkle with chopped parsley.
  • The Rogatic cicvara, just like the regular cicvara, can serve itself.
