Roasted salted almonds as tapas…
A real delicacy and aperitif - salty roasted almonds… spiced with ground pepper, salt, a little curry… above all healthy snacks with good beer, fine wine ... and of course with friends! :))
Preparation steps
- Preheat oven to 180 degrees.
- If you want peeled almonds, blanch them in boiling water for about 3-4 minutes, then drain them and transfer to cold water for a minute, then drain, peel and dry.
- Put olive oil in a baking dish and add almonds, mix them well so that they are all covered with oil and put in the oven for 10-15 minutes. Check every now and then in the oven and stir them to bake evenly on all sides. Also, very little is enough to toast. As soon as you feel that the smell starts to develop from the oven, then do not bake them for a long time because if they are toasted they are not good at all and they are bitter and essentially inedible.
- When they are baked, put them on the napkins to drain off the excess oil, and while they are still warm, season with the spices and salt that you have previously beaten in the oven.

The recipe is taken from my mini cookbook "Tapas". Tapas are Spanish meals that are like an aperitif or a small meal, in Spain there are tapas bars and restaurants that serve tapas that are really all kinds, from small snacks like bruschetta and sandwiches to various dishes from various vegetables, meat and fish. They are also divided into warm tapas and cold tapas.
