Ribs with mandarin and saffron sauce

Holidays are coming and the time of festive tables, if you are in the mood for sweet-sour-salty variants, this or something similar is a good suggestion.

Preparation steps

  • Put all the ingredients for the marinade in a small bowl and whisk with a fork, so that they are even and combined. Salt the meat well on all sides and put it in a shallow bowl so that the part with the bones is on the upper side. Coat it and pour over the marinade. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight.
  • Remove the meat from the marinade and sprinkle with pepper and mandarin peel. Pour the remaining marinade into the baking dish, if necessary add a little water so that the liquid covers the bottom of the dish. Put the grill on the grill and then the meat. Bake at 220 degrees for an hour and a half, until it receives a nice color. When the meat is ready, set it aside to cool slightly before cutting.
  • Strain the juice left over from baking into a small pan, then pour off the excess fat. Add the other ingredients for the sauce and cook over low heat. Cook until the sauce thickens.

Serving

Cut the meat into smaller pieces and serve with the sauce.
