Preparation steps

  • Peel an onion and cut it into quarters and put it in a blender with a little water. Add the chopped onion to a larger pot, with a little oil, if it is thick, add a little water. Add a little salt and simmer until the onion softens and turns yellow, stirring occasionally burn.
  • During this time, wash and soak the catfish, carp and / or pike fish heads in cold water, and add a little salt to the horseshoes and fine fish and let it stand.
  • Add chopped red horn pepper, a little salt and a little water to the blender. Mix finely. Then add 2 tablespoons of red ground sweet pepper to the contents and mix well and let it stand until the onion softens.
  • When the onion is ready, add all the peppers (fresh and ground) from the blender and stir. After a minute / two, add the fish heads to the water in which they were soaked for about 3 dl and add a little salt. Let it cook for about 30 - 45 minutes on medium heat without stirring just shake the pot a little. After that you can take out the heads if you want because you got the foundation.
  • Then add fine fish (horseshoes), mashed tomatoes and wine about 2dl. Water carefully so that all the fish stay in the water but not too much. Increase the heat and cook for about 30 minutes with occasional tasting. If necessary add salt, a little pepper, spice, wine When you are satisfied with the taste the Fish is done. Good apetite!

Serving

Serve with homemade fresh noodles or wide noodles with eggs. Fish is best eaten in deep and larger bowls. Fish soup is served with a piece of fish and noodles.
