A beautiful and juicy oriental cake for bitter coffee ... a delight!

Preparation steps

  • Whisk the eggs with the alternating addition of sugar and semolina. Finally add the flour and grated rind of one unsprayed lemon. Place the mixture in a greased baking tray and bake at 200C until golden and until the stabbed toothpick is removed dry from the dough. Allow to cool. Prepare the sherbet, then pour the lukewarm cake over the hot sherbet. Allow to cool, then cut into lozenges.

Serving

Serve with whipped cream and bitter coffee.
