Ratafia of roses

I'm not a big fan of drinks, but I like to have it and when someone comes to offer it ... here is another liqueur in a row.

Preparation steps

  • Put the petals in a glass jar, pour brandy over them and let them stand for two days, stirring occasionally.
  • Make a syrup: melt the sugar in water over a moderate heat (I didn’t have this type of water written in the recipe so I used boiled water), wait for it to boil and cook for 5 minutes. Remove the syrup from the heat and allow to cool.
  • Strain the brandy several times, until it is clear, then add it to the syrup and pour the liqueur into the bottle.
  • Leave it in a closed place for 1 month (preferably in a basement in a cabinet or pantry). The liqueur prepared in this way can cost you 3 months.
  • Cheers!!!!
