Rastika as winter

I love to cook various stews and the years have brought interesting experiences. Among others, I made stew from raštika, but I discovered that raštika is a very good addition to other stews from several types of vegetables or legumes, which I call from miles away - colorful stews. This prompted me to prepare raštika, which grows successfully in my garden, as a special winter home. I present this experience of mine in the form of a recipe for all of you who like to prepare stews, especially if you like raštika .... Once again, thank you omnia for the raštika seedlings, which you brought to me at this year's Cool-gathering in Koprivnica.

Preparation steps

  • Pick rastika or buy it at the market.
  • Wash the leaves well
  • Remove the hard middle of the leaves and then cut them into strips, blanch briefly and drain.
  • Lightly dry the blanched kale on a kitchen napkin and arrange it in freezer bags.
