Raštan (raštika) with bumblebees and home-made sausages
This is an old dish, my favorite. Bumblebees are made here in Boka, and they are actually dry sausages stuffed with corn flour and spices….
Preparation steps
- Wash the meat and put it to cook for 1 hour, add the washed and chopped raštan (to which you have removed the stalks), tuber, garlic and not much salt if the meat is salty. Cook for another half an hour. Check if the meat is cooked and drain the water from the pot .Heat about 5 dl of oil (preferably olive oil) and pour over the raštan to simmer.
Serving
This winter dish goes best with homemade proju that breaks with your hands .. :)
