Rahat lokum with blueberry flavor

Favorite rahat lokum is the famous Turkish sweet that melts in your mouth. We recommend for an afternoon hanging out with friends over a cup of coffee. A real pleasure!

Preparation steps

  • Mixcorn starch(170 g) with 400 g of powdered sugar and stir in water. Add the Lero syrup and heat while stirring.
  • When it thickens, cook briefly and pour the warm mixture into an oiled baking pan lined with baking paper, then flatten it to a thickness of about 3 cm.
  • Allow to cool. Cut into cubes the next day.
  • Rollthecubes in a mixture of the remaining powdered sugar and corn starch.
  • Arrange them on baking paper, slightly separated and leave for a couple of days to dry.

Serving

Serve rahat lokum with a cup of coffee.

Advice

You can, if desired, mix walnuts, almonds or pistachios into the rahat lokum when the mixture is already thickened.
