I've been obsessed with liqueurs lately. I have this recipe uhhh… who knows since when from high school days… ..a very old recipe. Now I remembered to publish it, and it will be a miracle that I find quince now over the winter… .so I only publish the recipe. I haven't tried it personally but I have it written in brackets next to the recipe (tried by Irena… ..superrrrr !!!)

Preparation steps

  • You just wipe the quinces with a paper towel to remove the fluff, they must not be washed.
  • Peel a squash, grate it and put it in a large jar with brandy.
  • Seal tightly and leave to stand in a dry and dark place at room temperature for 6-7 weeks.
  • When the set time has passed, open the jar. Put the sugar in 4 dcl of water and let it boil on the stove. Add the cinnamon stick and let it boil for another 10 minutes. Take out the stick and cool the syrup.
  • Pour the cooled syrup into the jar, stir and the procedures. Pour the liqueur in smaller bottles and serve čin. Act… act !!!
