Pumpkin seed burgers
Pumpkin seeds have the quality of proteins like chicken white meat, they are full of iron and healthy fats. These burgers are a great alternative to meat, but also soy, which many avoid due to genetic modification and phytosterogen. Preparation steps
- Grind the seeds in a mutipractice into as fine a powder as possible. First add half a cup of water and mix on the highest speed, to get a thick "sauce". Then add the other half of a cup of water and mix a little more so that everything is finely chopped. The result should be a thick mass like yogurt.
- Pour the obtained mass into a pot, boil it, and cook it on the WEAKEST fire with stirring for about 5 minutes. By cooking, the mass crumbles and you get something like scrambled eggs (although greenish in color from the wrapper of pumpkin seeds). You can already use this mixture as a kind of crushed "tofu" pumpkin cheese - let's say that you fry leeks or spring onions and this mixture without oil (since pumpkin seeds are already greasy), and you get something like scrambled eggs with onions.
