Pumpkin dumplings
Dumplings for me are not just dumplings, that term is something MORE for me and some dear people next to me. My dumplings have a story to remember, to retell and to live. I made dumplings from the story only once and never again, so these are different, where I replaced the good actor, potatoes, with omg, and with something other than pumpkin;), everything else is pure classic.
Preparation steps
- Clean the pumpkin, cut it into cubes and steam it.
- Put flour, chilled pumpkin, egg, butter and salt on the work surface, and make everything well into a smooth dough.
- Roll out the dough to a thickness of 0.5 cm and cut into 6 squares. Put a teaspoon of jam on each and form beautiful balls, which should be rolled in flour.
- Shaped dumplings cook in plenty of boiling water for 15-20 minutes, over low heat.
- Towards the end of cooking, put butter or oil in a pan, heat and add bread crumbs, fry until nicely browned. Add cooked dumplings to the crumbs and roll them nicely.
Serving
Of course pumpkin jam is not mandatory, but it is desirable;). You can replace it with all those fillings that you put in your favorite dumplings.
