Puff pastry duck
This one is very easy to make, and it is quite tasty with selected vegetables. You only need to have a mold, which any tinsmith can make according to your design.
Preparation steps
- Thaw and spread the puff pastry to a thickness of 1 cm.
- Remove the duck with a mold (always be an even number)
- Filling: Mix crushed white cheese, egg and egg whites from another egg.
- Put the filling over each long duck. Cover with the duck where there is no filling and lightly press the ends.
- Coat with egg yolk that has a little oil.
- Place in a preheated oven at 220 degrees C and bake until golden brown (ten to fifteen minutes).
- in the meantime, prepare a side dish of the above vegetables (or something else you like). I chop different vegetables into sticks, sauté in butter and finally add a little sour cream to combine. And be sure to a teaspoon of Vegeta.
Serving
I prepared this as an appetizer to our friends, who came for lunch after the New Year. Since I didn't have much time, I decided on something quick, and yet effective. And from what is left of the puff pastry (dough between the ducks), I make rolls.
