Princes donuts with lemon cream
Princess donuts with lemon cream, very simple, do not require any special skills because they do not even need to be as beautiful and tall as the classic but more like small snacks. See also the recipe video: https://youtu.be/u-5UHpIj5WQ
Preparation steps
- See the detailed preparation in the video: https://youtu.be/u-5UHpIj5WQ
- For the princess donuts, make a dough by dissolving the butter in water and then removing from the heat and kneading the flour into which you have already mixed the salt. Allow the mixture to cool or mix slightly with a mixer to release heat. When the mixture has cooled slightly, add one egg at a time and mix after each.
- Put the mixture in a bag with a nozzle and squeeze the desired size (shown in the video). This mixture is a little different than most princess donut recipes because this recipe is not meant to cut donuts in half and cream in the middle. These princess donuts are lower and the mixture is actually injected like in classic donuts, but I have shown a more classic look in the picture.
- Bake them at 200 degrees until they swell and take on a nice color. Prepare the cream from lemon curd, for which you can find the recipe here if you don't already have one of your own: https://youtu.be/Fkvk47jIqwU Dilute this cream with whipped cream to the extent that the cream is as much whipped cream, but you can do it to your liking . The amount also depends on how many donuts you have made and how much you want to fill. This recipe is small, but increase it if you want, so you need more cream.
- As soon as they are done, I usually just stab them with a knife to make a hole and let them cool down, but you can work classically. These princess donuts are ideal for injecting cream and are small snacks.
