Pressed salad
Remains of recipes from summer. Stacked tomato, mozzarella and basil salad is not an unknown recipe, but the idea for serving is also very tasty.
Preparation steps
- Wash the tomatoes. Cut the upper part of the tomato into a cross. Blanch them briefly in boiling water. Put them in cold water and peel the shrimp. Dissolve the tomato to get large slices, clean it of seeds and place it on the kitchen paper to drain.
- Slice the mozzarella, wash the basil leaves. In the bowl in which you will stack the salad, put a transparent foil on the bottom and pierce it in a few places with a toothpick. Arrange the tomatoes, lightly salt, cheese, lightly salt and steam the basil.
- Repeat the process until you have used up all the ingredients. Wrap the salad, Put some weight on top, a heavier bowl, let the salad stand overnight.
- Drain the excess water. Turn the salad on a serving plate. It must be dry and easy to cut. Drizzle everything with olive oil and light basamic vinegar.
- Serve with some cold platter.
