The recipe for these fine rolls was extracted from my mother's dessert archive….

Preparation steps

  • knead the dough
  • make 4 round buns
  • cover and let stand 2 hours
  • roll the dough into a circle, cut it and fill it with jam or walnuts
  • leave to rise for another half hour
  • bake for 20-30 minutes at 180 ° C
  • roll in sugar with vanilla
