Prebranac by Baka Gina
There are many ways to prepare standard dishes ... also, small nuances decide the differences in taste. Prebranac has been preparing in this way for decades in the house of my grandmother, my parents and now in ours. And whoever tries it, always says .... The best
Preparation steps
- In a large skillet, fry the onion, garlic in a glass with a little oil ... If necessary, add a little water and simmer
- Add finely chopped red pepper and continue to simmer
- While the onion is simmering, wash the beans and put it in a small sieve, and drink it with water ... Cook for 15 minutes
- Strain the cooked beans, and add to the sauteed onions and peppers
- Drink with water. Add chopped tomatoes, salt and spices. Cook until the grains are soft. The length of cooking depends on the type of beans
- When it is cooked, prepare the dough by briefly frying the flour and paprika in a little oil. Pour into a bowl with beans and cook for another ten minutes
- When cooked, pour into an earthenware or fireproof dish, cover with bacon leaves
- Bake at 170 degrees for about 1/2 hour. The length of baking depends on how much liquid is left in the cooked beans and how much density you want
Serving
It can be served warm with baking, or as a cold appetizer
