Prague apple pie
Maybe a more accurate term would be cake, but it doesn’t matter either. The main thing is that it's delicious, isn't it? :)
Preparation steps
- Beat butter, honey and eggs until foamy. While mixing, add the mixed flour, vanilla sugar and baking powder to the mixture. Pour the mixture into a 26 cm diameter cake tin.
- Peel the apples, clean and cut into smaller pieces, pour over the lemon juice and arrange on the mixture. As you can see in the picture, I only cut the apples in half. However, I recommend that they be cut into smaller pieces as in the recipe, because in my case they remained a little hard on the inside.
- Melt the butter, honey, chopped walnuts and a tablespoon of milk while stirring over low heat, add the cinnamon, leave to cool a bit (2 minutes) and pour over the apples.
- Bake at 175 degrees for about 45 minutes. Good apetite!
- Here is another picture - made for the third time this year - yum :) Only 2 pieces left. The image looks a little dark, as if it is burnt but not at all.
