Pork liver in sauce
Liver .... totally neglected food in the diet ....
Preparation steps
- Remove the skin from the liver and cut it into smaller pieces. Fry diced bacon and liver bacon in heated fat. When our liver is fried on both sides, add salt and pepper. Remove the liver from the pan and set aside.
- Fry sliced spring onions and sliced champignons on the remaining fat. Add remaining butter, salt and pepper. When the mushrooms are fried, add white wine and simmer for about 5 minutes.
- Return the liver to the pan and simmer for another 10 minutes.
Serving
Serve the liver with boiled vegetables, mashed potatoes or your choice. We still pour the sauce from the pan over everything.
