Pork in goulash sauce
There are a lot of recipes for goulash but here is my simple .....
Preparation steps
- Pork steaks, beat with a meat mallet, the night before leave in a "rat" of oil, salt, pepper and thyme (if you have time :)).
- The next day take out the steaks and fry them abruptly. Remove from the pot and sauté the finely chopped onion and carrot in the same oil (I put it grated). Simmer for a while and cover with a little water. When the onion turns yellow, return the meat to the pot and pour 3 dcl of water, add a little salt and steam. Cook over low heat for about 1 hour and 40 minutes, adding water if necessary.
- Put 3 tablespoons of Fanta and 2 dcl of water in a bowl and stir. Pour this mixture into a pot with the meat and cook for another 20 minutes.
Serving
Serve warm with gnocchi or mashed potatoes and lettuce.
