Popay rice
Simply a cool side dish. . .
Preparation steps
- Melt the garlic butter over a low heat (or a little fat of your choice with finely chopped garlic). Add the rice and sauté a little. Pour about 400 ml of water. Season with a teaspoon of salt. Cook until half done, about 7 min. Add the spinach (previously blanched and chopped, fresh or frozen). Season with 2 tablespoons of vegeta, and pour over another 2-3dcl of water / stock, to make it soft. Let it boil for a few more minutes, until the rice is completely cooked. --------------------------------------------------- ----- Stir in 2 tablespoons of cooking cream and serve warm.
