Pome fried in a pan
I would classify this as a snack. Something quick to “kill” hunger, as my mom says.
Preparation steps
- Cut the pome into rings, arrange in slightly heated oil, add salt and cover. When they are slightly fried, remove from the heat, wait a few seconds (so that they do not splash around) and then unfold. Turn over, then sprinkle with a little pepper, sugar, basil, cover again and return to the heat. When they soften, just turn them over so that the basil smells a little and serve immediately.
- With egg: When they are ready, spread the middle and break the egg. Add a little salt, pepper and basil, cover and fry "by eye".
