Polenta gnocchi
Light, fine and tasty, it can be served as a side dish or as a main dish.
Preparation steps
- When the water boils, add salt, cook the polenta and add a cube of butter
- Grease the bowl in which you will place the gnocchi with butter
- Pour the polenta on the base, spread it a little (to cool faster) and take out small piles with a spoon on the other base.
- Shape the gnocchi with your hands and arrange in this order:
- Sprinkle one row of gnocchi with parmesan, the other row with melted butter and the last row with grated cheese (Gouda or another)
- You can leave it covered to melt the cheese or you can bake it briefly in the microwave or ordinary oven (I put the gnocchi in the off and still warm oven)
Serving
The recipe is from one of my fine books. I didn't stick strictly to the recipe but just picked up the idea.
