This dish is very popular in restaurants - baking on a board. I made it at home. The boards are made of oak and the baking is prepared and only baked on boards special for this method of storage. And what is even more interesting: it is served baked on boards like this :)

Preparation steps

  • Boil the potatoes and make a puree - make it a little softer than usual
  • Season the meat steaks and fry abruptly in a little fat
  • Preheat the oven to 225 `C
  • Place the roasted meat and vegetables on the boards and place in the oven to bake
  • After a few minutes (depending on the type of meat, but do not overcook or dry in the oven), take the boards out of the oven.
  • Sprinkle mashed potatoes with a syringe around the meat (my syringe broke so I put it with a spoon)
  • Return to the oven to bake everything nicely and get a golden yellow color
  • Baked, take out and pour the prepared sauce and -serve!
  • The boards are served directly on the table on cork mats

Serving

The effectiveness of this way of baking is that it keeps the food hot during the whole meal and has a special "smek". So - saw in your hands and cut the boards and surprise the guests :)
