"Placke" - potato pancakes
These delicious pancakes are very popular in Slovak cuisine and are often made (I could see for myself). Here is the original recipe for them.
Preparation steps
- Peel a squash, grate it and squeeze the juice.
- Add the flour, milk and salami that you cut into small noodles.
- Stir in scrambled eggs, a pinch of salt, pepper, chopped parsley, crushed garlic and vegeta.
- Finally add mineral water.
- Heat a little oil in a pan and spread the prepared mixture evenly in the shape of pancakes. Bake the pancakes on both sides until they get a golden yellow color.
Serving
You can serve these delicious pancakes with various salads or in winter with stewed sauerkraut. In Slovak cuisine, these types of pancakes are usually stuffed with various types of finely chopped stewed meat, but in that case you will prepare them without sunkerka. I fried them in a multifunctional electric pan.
