Pizza burek

I found this recipe in last year's issue of "food and wine" for August, I was looking for something to spend the crust for gibanica and when I saw this with the pizza there was no doubt ... The children were a little weird when they saw the pizza ??? and they didn't want to eat such a pizza but after persuasion and the first bite there were no further problems; "mom, this pizza is nice to you" the little one told me ...

Preparation steps

  • Fry the finely chopped champignons in a little oil and cool them. Grate the cheese and ham, then mix with the ketchup and chilled champignons. Season with salt, pepper and pizza seasoning. Heat 150 ml of oil.
  • Coat a deeper round dish with butter and put the first crust on top by leaving the ends of the crust hanging out of the pan. Bend the second crust and put it in a pan, sprinkle with heated oil, then add another crust and sprinkle with oil.
  • Then again put 2 crusts, each sprinkled with a crumb of oil, sprinkle with stuffing and so until we have used up all the mixture, there must be crusts on top, which we then twist towards the inside of the bowl.
  • Put the oven at 200 degrees for about 30 minutes. During baking, cover the top with aluminum foil if the crust is too brown. When baked, cover with a damp cloth to soften the crust a little.

Serving

Serve with sour cream, ketchup. Or with tomato salad or similar.
