Pinolata
A simple Tuscan pineapple cake (pine pine seeds). Along with the pictures of cakes are pine cones, so if the road ever takes you to Dalmatia, pick a little one because they are very expensive in stores.
Preparation steps
- Make butter, sugar and eggs well. Then add the lemon zest, flour and baking powder and half the pine nuts
- Pour the dough into a greased mold and sprinkle with the rest of the pine nuts
- Bake at 190 degrees for 40 minutes. Sprinkle the cake with powdered sugar. It is best to consume it after one day.
