Pineapple dome
I haven't seen this recipe on coolka, maybe it has another name, here's mine, if anyone likes it… I mean, it's not mine, I got the recipe from a wonderful woman, interestingly, her name is Anka :) the cake is great, very juicy…
Preparation steps
- Bake two biscuits in a cake pan. So, you need a total of 6 eggs, 12 tablespoons of sugar…
- Coat the strainer with pineapple (I used Tupperware, it can be any round strainer), and put apricots in all the recesses. Chop the rest of the fruit into pieces. Dice one biscuit. Make cheese, yoghurt, sugar and vanilla sugar, add whipped cream or whipped cream (3-4 bags of whipped cream) and mix everything. Add previously swollen and then dissolved gelatine to everything and, of course, mix again. Pour a little filling into the strainer, sprinkle with fruit and pieces of biscuit, pour the filling over everything, again fruit, biscuit, filling, etc.…. Finally, cover everything with another biscuit, press a little and put it in the fridge overnight. The next day, just shake it out on a tray and, if desired, decorate the bottom of the cake with whipped cream.
- IMPORTANT: When you put the cake in the fridge, put a tray or a deeper plate under the strainer because a lot of liquid will be squeezed out of the compote.
