Piles of potatoes and parmesan (Parmesan potato stack)
For those of you who love potatoes, this is fantastic, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside like cotton, all with the taste of parmesan and thyme. With some salad and roast meat, a great Sunday lunch for you and your loved ones.
Preparation steps
- In a pan, at a low temperature, melt the butter, set aside 1 tablespoon to lubricate the muffin tin. Add all the spices (mashed garlic, with the taste of onion, pepper and thyme) to the melted butter and mix everything well. Turn off the hob and leave the pan on the hob.
- Peel the potatoes, wash and dry. On a mandolin for cutting vegetables, cut into thin rings and pour into a larger bowl, pour over the butter mass. Add grated parmesan and mix everything well with your hands, and if you need to separate the rings, make them easier to wrap with butter mass.
- Take the potato rings by hand, place them on top of each other and place the piles prepared in this way in the muffin tin, which you previously coated with the butter you left aside. (You can also use a butter-flavored baking spray) Coat with very little butter on top or drizzle with a few drops of melted butter.
- Turn on the oven at 175 ° C and bake until it is well heated and bake for about 45 minutes or, if the oven is very hot, turn it on at 160 ° C and bake for about an hour. Remove the baked piles from the oven, leave them to cool briefly and pass them around the sides with a knife and take them out with a fork. Serve warm, sprinkled with a little fresh thyme.
- Pleasant !!!!
