Pileli-borek / gathered colorful burek
Another crunchy, simple Turkish burek with ready-made crusts. Recipe for coolerica.
Preparation steps
- Cut the peppers into cubes. Chop the tomatoes into cubes. Finely chop the parsley. Grate the cheese. Put everything in a bowl, add salt / if necessary, add a little hot pepper and oregano. Stir. Prepare the topping / coating: Mix the milk, oil and egg and mix with a fork to combine.
- Take the finished sheet / pie crust and coat it with the prepared coating / I do it by hand, so that it is very finely coated, put the second crust above the first one and coat it again, sprinkle loose filling on the crust. , Go down to the protvan that you have slightly oiled. Pour the rest of the coating over the burek.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 180C / 35 min. Until it becomes crispy and gets a nice color. Serve hot or cold with yogurt and salad.
