Golden potato balls stuffed with garlic and coconut. Indian cuisine in full force of taste, smell and color !!! I saw the recipe on Gordon Ramsey’s show, and the recipe is the work of Prashad and Kaushy Patel restaurants.
Preparation steps
- For MASAL in a blender, mix the chili, garlic, salt and ginger until you get a fine paste.
- Add all the FILLING ingredients to the bowl, add the masala paste and mix everything well with your fingers.
- Boil the potatoes and make a puree out of it. Add the other OMOTACH ingredients to the potatoes.
- The dough is quite sticky, so it might be convenient to put on gloves and continue working with them.
- We take out the obtained dough, ie the wrappers, on the palm and make a palm-sized cake about 5 mm thin. We put a ball of the obtained filling inside it and wrap everything nicely in a ball so that it is more filled in the middle of the ball.
- Heat a deeper oil and place ball by ball inside. Don't overload. Turn them over with a wooden spoon. Fry them for about 5 minutes until they get a beautiful golden color. Take them out on a paper towel to drain off the oil.
