Peasant biscuits
Simple and fine biscuits that go great with a cup of coffee :)
Preparation steps
- Mix the room temperature margarine briefly with the sugar, then add the egg, cinnamon, salt and continue to knead. At the end of the mixture, add flour and baking powder and knead until you get a smooth mixture. Place the dough in a transparent foil and refrigerate for 1 hour. Take the dough out of the fridge, roll it out to a thickness of 5-10mm and cut it into the desired molds or simply into 4x4cm cubes. Place the biscuits in a baking tray on baking paper, coat them with egg, sprinkle with hazelnuts and sugar, and place in a preheated oven to bake for about 15 minutes at 180 degrees.
