Paradise cake
I have the green light to publish the recipe and this is definitely cake no.1 Thank you Murtila Fjor and no, I'm not angry;) "Everyone has their reasons and when the reasons don't exist…"
Preparation steps
- For the dough, creamily mix the butter, then gradually add the sugar, vanilla sugar, egg yolks and salt. Lightly mix the flour mixed with the baking powder.
- For the coating, mix cinnamon with powdered sugar and beat the egg whites in solid snow. We peel the almonds, peel them and cut them into lengths.
- Divide the dough into 4 parts for 4 crusts which we bake separately in a cake tin on baking paper. Coat each crust on top with a quarter of egg whites, sprinkle with a quarter of sugar with cinnamon and almond leaves. Bake them in an oven preheated to 175 ° C for 15 minutes, or until they start to turn yellow.
- Cream:
- Mix the well-chilled sour cream with the whipped cream fix until it becomes firm, then add the drained cherries mixed with powdered sugar. Coat each crust with this filling and sprinkle each with sliced, peeled almonds.
- Decorate the cake with some separate cherries and sprinkle it richly with the remaining almonds.
