Ozalj noodles with mushrooms
Each harvest inspires mushrooms for a new dish, of course depending on what nature gives them. The Ozalj region is very rich in mushrooms, so from there a very tasty dish arrived in Vegeta's kitchen, which can also be prepared with cultivated mushrooms.
Preparation steps
- Peel a squash, grate it and slice it. Finely chop the onion, garlic and parsley.
- Fry onions and mushrooms in heated oil, add oregano and Vegeta. Drizzle with wine and simmer until mushrooms are softened. Add garlic and pepper.
- Cook the noodles in salted water. Be careful not to overcook.
- In a wider pan, add butter, drained noodles, cottage cheese, cream mixed with egg yolk and prepared mushrooms. Heat everything and sprinkle with parsley.
Serving
Serve noodles with mushrooms with a seasonal salad.

If you choose several different types of mushrooms, the dish will be tastier.
